The Sandwich Park District is a special district of local government with its own financial and legal responsibilities. We are a "stand-alone" taxing body that is governed by seven elected residents of the Sandwich Park District boundaries who give service to the community without the benefit of pay. The Sandwich Park District Board of Commissioners meet once a month to conduct the business of the District while having special meetings as needed. Regular business meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the David A. Francis Center, 1001 North Latham Street unless otherwise posted. Current Board Commissioners are as follows:
The Sandwich Park District Attorney is David Silverman of Mahoney, Silverman and Cross of Joliet, Illinois.
Minutes of meetings, after approval by the Board, will be posted on the website Agendas for Board meetings will be posted on this website as least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
