Sandwich Memorial Park is the second largest park in the Sandwich Park District system.  This fifteen acre park, purchased in 1972 from Everett and Judy Hyatt, is located in the southwest section of the City of Sandwich and has recreational opportunities for all ages.  The entrance to this park is located at the intersection of Water Street and Green Street.

The playground area was upgraded in 1996 with a GameTime unit to accommodate children ages one to twelve.  A wood chip play surface was installed at the same time to provide safety and soft landings.

Sandwich Memorial Park is also "home" to the Sandwich Boys Baseball organization.  The ball diamonds were upgraded in 1998 with night lighting.  A concession stand near the diamonds provides tasty treats for players and fans.
