Youth Photography 101

Youth photography 101 is designed to develop art appreciation through enhancing photography skills and creativity.  Over the course of four workshops, students will learn how to capture a good picture through consideration of composition, light and creativity.  A major portion of the course will take place outside.  Students need to bring their own digital camera (point and shoot or SLR) with its USB cord and have access to a computer to upload their work after each workshop.  The instructor, Gwendolyn Allen, will use her personal laptop for students without computer access.  Students will receive three portraits of themselves taken by the instructor on a CD by the end of the course.  For more information contact the instructor at 630-364-0141 or visit www.livingartphotographer.com
