At each specialty camp kids spend approximately three hours of the day in themed activities.
Register early because space is limited. Both morning and afternoon sessions are available.
Participants will not be allowed to sign up for both AM & PM in the same week of camp.

Junior Artists Camp I - Register by 05/28
Includes various art and craft projects each day!
Additional $17 supply fee is collected at the time of registration
Western Camp - Register by 06/03
Includes various ranch activities such as roping, horse maintenance,
horseback riding, goat tying, and farm animal care
Adventure Camp I - Register by 06-10
Includes hiking, canoeing, and exploring
Note: participants must know how to swim
First Responders Camp - Register by 06-17
Includes activities in cooperation with Sandwich police and fire department
Oddball Sports - Register by 06/24
Includes Pickleball, Disc Golf, WiffleBall and Kickball (3 day camp)
Adventure Camp II - Register by 07/01
Includes hiking, canoeing, and exploring

Did you Know?
We have a Little Free Library at the shelter in Knights Park. Feel free to take a book, return the book, or donate a book. There are books for all ages, and all genres.

Hello Friends,
Spring is starting to emerge and things are starting to get green! This has definitely been one of the most interesting springs I think we have had in a long time. The Sandwich Park District is once again excited to spend another great spring and summer with you. This winter we enjoyed many successful programs and events. Over the winter we took participants on numerous trips and adventures. A couple of the trips we took included the Field Museum Chicago and a Chicago Wolves game. We love to host fun adventures and trips like these. Keep an eye out in this guide for some more fun summer adventures.
This summer we are ready to celebrate our nations freedom with our very popular Freedom Day’s Fireworks and Parade. This amazing event will be held on July 6th 2024. We hope you will join us that morning for a celebration parade throughout Sandwich …
