GOLF LESSONS AGES 5-14
This co-ed golf instructional program is designed for participants
ages 5 to 14. Participants will be instructed on basic and
advanced golf techniques such as; proper stance, how to grip
a golf club, swing techniques, club recognition for golf shots
and distance, golf etiquette, and rules of the game. This instructional
golf program is held at Edgebrook Country Club. 2100
Suydam Road in Sandwich. Proper golf attire required. Bring
a water bottle. All registration is done at the Sandwich Park
District. Come on out and “Groove your Swing “ while having
fun. *Practice balls are included.

Get out of the house and get into nature! We will
take field trips each day to different parks, rivers and
have hands on educational tools. We will learn about
our environment and ecosystem with help from Kendall County
Forest Preserve education program. We will be hiking, climbing,
paddling and learning so be sure to wear the proper clothing for
the weather and to get dirty!

Fishing is a healthy outdoor activity! It’s good for the mind, body,

to outdoor activity, getting children outdoors and being active. Bring
your little anglers for our kids’ fishing class which is held on 12-17 M-Th 9:00-3:00P 7/24-7/27 7/17 $100/110 332506-2
Saturday during June and July. Classes take place from 10
am to 12 pm. Anglers learn fishing basics including
knot-tying, casting, fish identification, angler etiquette and
fishing regulations. Poles, tackle and bait are provided, however
participants may bring their own equipment. No State License
or City Permits required during class hours. Fish caught during
class will be released, after we take pictures though! All participants
will meet at the Sandwich Sportsman’s Club located at 1011
Hartland Trail, Sandwich, IL. 60548. A free class t-shirt is
included for all registered participants. All registration is done
at the Sandwich Park District.

ADVANCED FISHING FOR FUN
Advanced Fishing for Fun is open to those who have previously
attended Fishing for Fun classes or have a good foundation
of fishing basics and want to expand their fishing knowledge.
Class takes place from 10:00am to 12pm. Participants will learn
advanced knot-tying, casting techniques, how to maximize your
fishing equipment, and how to select baits based on weather
conditions. No State License or City Permits required during
class hour. Fish caught during class will be released (AFTER
pictures are taken!). A class t-shirt is included for all registered
participants. Registration deadline is ONE day before the date
of the class. All registration is done at the Sandwich Park District.
